Another Year is Over, 2023!

When I thought about writing this article, I realized that I haven't blogged that much. I realized that I've been neglecting these places a bit. I hope 2024 will be a year when I can spend time blogging and my enthusiasm comes...

Writing code is actually my hobby as much as my job. In order to be different from this hobby, I tried to spend more time with coffee, photography and games. After the New Year, I want to go swimming and do sports. It will be very good both for spending time and for my health.

We started to discover new places and go camping. In the last half of the year, we went to a different city every 2 months and achieved good statistics. We really love traveling. We designed our last trip around camping and enjoyed it a lot. We are waiting for 2024 to refresh our equipment and have a nice camp.

We bought our first vehicle. It's really nice that it takes our feet off the ground. We can get there whenever we want and it really makes things easier for us.

With the end of the year approaching, I completed my 2nd year at OSF Digital. About 6-7 months ago, I became a team leader responsible for 4 people. I am trying to improve myself day by day in this position and gain new experiences.

I also started to go into a little more detail on the technical side and focus on architecture, clean code and usability. I end my day by thinking about how we can produce solutions for the project with the pull requests opened at the end of the day.

I can easily say that this was the most productive and beautiful start I made this year. So much so that I started two projects at the same time and started developing with #buildinpublic. The feedback I received thanks to the posts I made really increases my motivation.

I took a break towards the end of the year. I will most likely continue to actively develop and share again in a few days. After releasing the MVP version of the projects, I will roll up my sleeves once again and start new projects when I have the opportunity. The more projects I develop and publish in the new year, the more I will definitely get away with it.

I have been taking photos with my phone for a long time. This year we bought a professional camera as an extra. I focused a little more on shooting styles and settings with the camera and tried to catch the angle I wanted. One of my favorite styles is street photography. I like to shoot natural moments on the street as long as I have the camera with me.

Another thing that motivates me is to make the photos I take look beautiful with effects. I share some of the photos I take on Unsplash. About 100 thousand people have accessed my photos so far, this is one of the things that really makes people happy.

Another thing that interests me is shooting cinematic videos. For this, I follow good people in the field, examine their shooting styles and try to get the necessary information on the internet. I have already shared my first video about this on my Instagram account.

we are leaving 2023 at the age of 24 and counting the days to 25. Although time passes as it does, it really feels incredibly fast at this age. We leave the times that will never come back in the past as we always do and continue on our way, as much as we can... With the hope of being happy, healthy, peaceful, without wars, and without children dying...
